HEALTH FACILITIES STRUCTURES HANDED OVER TO THE BENEFICIARIES

Mubende district local government has today handed over two completed health centre structures to the beneficiaries in a bid to improve service delivery.

This has followed the elevation of two health facilities from health centre ii to health centre iii at Butoloogo health centre iii and Butawata health centre iii in Butoloogo and Kigando sub counties respectively.

During the hand over ceremony presided over by the resident district commissioner for Mubende district Nyakwera Mary Baguma, she applauded the government or providing the funds that have been utilised in the construction of the new buildings at these health facilities.

Mrs Nyakwera added that medical equipments will also be provided to the health centres and also equipped with new staff to enable these health centres handle all emergency cases that which are being referred to Mubende regional referral hospital.

Mrs Nyakwera urged the public to utilise the facilities by seeking for medication when they are sick because the drugs are provided by the government

Mr. Lubowa Deo district health officer explained that these health facilities will also be provided with staff quarters in the forth coming financial year to enable the health staffs operate in time
